I’m Sooz. I love to cook. I also love Alton Brown’s Food Network show “Good Eats.”

A friend gave me Alton Brown’s new book “Good Eats: The Early Years” and the next day I watched the movie “Julie & Julia“, based on Julie Powell’s blog and subsequent book about her year-long journey making all 524 recipes in Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, Volume I.

Inspired, I decided to create this little website to document my travels through Alton Brown’s Good Eats book, beginning on page one and working my way through the first six seasons of 80 episodes. I appreciate how he adds cooking science tidbits and humor to each show. He rocks!

It’s an adventure.
